Comments: THE CNA HAS NO JURISDICTION OVER GRANDFATHERED ADOPTIONS

I agree with you that all children should come home quickly. My son was stuck in this mess and delayed his homecoming. As a result of Guatemalan Dr.s not putting in the medical reports that he was physically delayed, he came home not being able to do anything with his legs and we never knew about this until he arrived home. He has made tremendous strives and is doing remarkable, yet he is still delayed. I beleive if he had a chance to come home quicker and not be stuck in this PGN, CNA mess, he would have not needed so many theraly services here in the states. He also suffers pschyologically and is having a hard time with attachment since he was tweleve months old when he arrived home as opposed to six or seven months. Its appalling that these agency's have no compassion for the children of their own country. Thank you for all the work you do, and God Bless!

Susana,

I am one of the PAPs whose birthmom interview did not take place by the deadline & now she won't cooperate. My attorney said he was told an Amparo couldn't be filed. Is there anything more oyu know or have heard that I can maybe pass on to my agency and attorney so I can get my adoption moving out of PGN and bring my son home?
How did the other cases get approved without the birthmom interview? Do you know? You can reply here or to my email. Thank you so very much,

Desiree'
